It'll probably be open source, allowing you people to go wild and tailor it to your needs. It'll have all kinds of graphics and gameplay options you can toggle and modify and go crazy with. Whether or not it'll come out, ehhhh... That's in the air. I don't have many ideas for the interface yet, but I want the developer to be able to make their game look as good as possible without any sacrifices. Simple little things like "easy modding" or dithering transparency will be easily doable. The scripting language would probably be something like Python, or maybe even something of my own creation. WHY IS IT CALLED MAGE? It is a reference to "SSNTails"' "Wizard" engine. Which is an ongoing project to make a 3D engine from scratch. Although, my vision for the engine has changed drastically. I'll try to make it be as user-friendly and optimized as possible.
